METHODOLOGY

My Soccer Academy

INTRODUCTION

MSA starts with communication. It's very important to have a talk with the players prior to starting the class. They need to know what the class is all about and the main points we will be working on the soccer training.

GAME TIME

The game is the goal in our soccer practice. In MSA, the entire purpose of practicing and learning the game is so players can eventually execute what they've learned in a competitive match.

WARM-UP DRILL

Players need to understand the importance of the Warm-Up session. It increases oxygen and nutrients to muscles; Prepares the heart for an increase in activity; Prepares your players mentally for the soccer session.

COOL DOWN

It is the time for the coach and players to talk about what was learned during the training session. Bring the heart rate down and stretch. And to pick the player of the day and the reward.

DRILL SESSIONS

In every session, we have two main drills. It helps our coaches to break down complex messages into simple, understandable activities. And to improve specific skills required to fit in with our playing methodology.

MSA SHOUT-OUT

Many soccer clubs, academies, schools and other sports have their own shout-out. Well, we at My Soccer Academy in Kissimmee have one too and we do it with love and pride. WE ARE MSA!

HOW IS THE SOCCER PROGRAM FOR KIDS?

It’s Amazing! We currently have soccer classes for kids between 2 to 15 years old in our St. Cloud location all year round. We don’t have seasons, we practice from January to December and even during the summer. So, come and enjoy a super fun class with your child.
