THE BEGINNING
WHY WE STARTED
It was the beginning of the year 2012 and a conversation started about health and childhood obesity. We spoke about extracurricular activities for children and why parents couldn’t bring them. Soon we found out that it was because of money. (The full story book is in the process)
OPENING DATE
MSA WAS BORN
We noticed that other soccer clubs were charging (over $150/m per child). In May 2012, we decided to open My Soccer Academy to offer a top quality service for as low as $45/m per child. Other academies & clubs were upset at us but we had a purpose, “To help our community”.
2013
WHERE MSA STARTED
HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
May 2012. Not knowing where to go & didn’t have money to rent a place, we started talking to everyone in town. Remember, when you have good intentions, everything works for the better. Someone helped us to start inside an Elementary School. (We were so grateful & happy).
1st LOCATION
THIS TIME WAS AMAZING
2012/2013. Wow! This moment was incredible, for the 1st time, we had our 1st soccer location with a full week of soccer classes for children between 5 to 16 years old. It was in Orlando by Boggy Creek near the Orlando International Airport. We grew rapidly, players & parents loved it.
